Autodesk Forma Build Mobile App Training: 1-Day Course

This one-day, instructor-led course teaches project teams how to use the Autodesk Forma mobile app to access information, document field conditions, and complete common Autodesk Forma Build workflows from a smartphone or tablet.

Participants will learn how to navigate projects, view drawings and files, work offline, create markups, manage issues, complete forms, capture photos, review assigned work, and synchronize field updates with the project team.

This course is intended for superintendents, project engineers, inspectors, safety personnel, subcontractors, and other field users.

Course Duration

One day, eight hours.

Prerequisites and Requirements

Participants must provide a compatible iOS or Android device with the Autodesk Forma mobile app installed and running.

Each participant must also have:

• A compatible mobile Device such as iPhone, iPad, Android Phone or Android tablet 
• An active Autodesk Forma Build user license
• An active Autodesk account
• Internet access and sufficient device storage

Licenses, mobile devices, cellular service, and internet access are not provided by Cedar Rock Consulting.

Course Exclusions

Autodesk Forma Build Cost Management, Autodesk Insight, project administration, account administration, and advanced configuration are not included.

Some workflows available in the web application may be limited or unavailable in the mobile app.

About the Instructor

The instructor has extensive experience in MEP and Structural, plus demonstrating, teaching, implementing, and supporting many Autodesk software's for organizations ranging from small businesses to multinational companies.

The instructor developed the Autodesk Forma Build curriculum used in this course, which is also delivered through Global eTraining. The course workflows, exercises, and supporting materials are drawn from that professionally developed content.

Participant devices, applications, licenses, project access, and permissions must be properly configured before the scheduled class date.

Participants who are not prepared, do not attend, or cancel within 24 hours of the course will be rescheduled for a future class, and a 25% late course-drop, cancellation, or no-show fee will apply.
