Autodesk Inventor Fundamentals: 3-Day Training

This three-day, instructor-led course provides new users with a practical foundation in Autodesk Inventor. Over three full days of training, participants will learn how to navigate the Inventor interface, manage files, understand common Inventor file types, and create sketches, parts, assemblies, and drawings.

The course also includes practical workflows, productivity tips, and techniques designed to help learners work more confidently and efficiently in Inventor.

This training is intended for novice users, new employees, or anyone with little to no prior experience using Autodesk Inventor.

Course Length

Three days, eight hours per day.

Prerequisites

Participants should have:

  • A basic understanding of mechanical engineering concepts

  • A basic understanding of Windows File Explorer

  • Autodesk Inventor 2026 or newer installed, configured, and running

  • Microsoft Excel installed and running

Price

$1,395 per participant

The course fee includes up to one year of access to online eLearning tools for each registered participant. Enrollment will be completed after payment is received.

About the Instructor

The instructor has used Autodesk Inventor in professional manufacturing and industrial environments since its original release as Rubicon, also known as Inventor R1.

His experience includes designing manufacturing equipment, industrial machinery, and related mechanical systems. He has demonstrated, taught, implemented, and supported Autodesk Inventor for thousands of clients worldwide through the Autodesk reseller channel, as an Autodesk Manufacturing and Data Management Technical Specialist, and as an independent consultant.

His consulting and training experience has supported organizations ranging from sole proprietors and small businesses to large multinational companies.

*Installation and configuration services are available up to 2 days before the scheduled training for a nominal fee. 

Important Registration Note

End-user workstations must be properly configured before the scheduled class date. If a workstation is not ready, or the learner does not attend, or the learner cancels within 24 hours of the course, the learner will be rescheduled for a future class and a 25% late cancellation or no-show fee will apply.
