Autodesk Inventor Intermediate Training: 2-Day Course

This two-day, instructor-led course expands participants’ Autodesk Inventor skills through more advanced modeling, automation, and content-management workflows.

Participants will learn how to use Inventor Frame Generator, Weldments, Content Center, iParts, iAssemblies, and iLogic fundamentals. The course also includes practical workflows, productivity techniques, and additional tools used in mechanical and industrial design.

This training is intended for experienced Inventor users who already have a solid understanding of the software. Inventor fundamentals will not be reviewed and should be well understood before attending.

Course Duration

Two days, eight hours per day.

Prerequisites and Requirements

Participants should have:

  • A basic understanding of mechanical engineering

  • A strong working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor

  • Autodesk Inventor 2026 installed, configured, and running

  • Autodesk Vault Basic 2026 Client and Server installed, configured, and running

  • Microsoft Excel installed and running

  • A properly configured workstation

The course fee includes up to one year of access to online eLearning tools for each registered participant. Enrollment will be completed after payment is received.

Implementation and workstation-setup services are available for an additional fee when scheduled at least two business days before the training date.

About the Instructor

The instructor brings extensive professional experience using Autodesk Inventor and Vault in manufacturing and industrial environments. He has worked with Inventor since its original release as Rubicon, also known as Inventor R1, and with Autodesk Vault since its early releases.

His experience includes designing manufacturing equipment and industrial machinery, as well as demonstrating, teaching, implementing, and supporting Inventor and Vault for thousands of clients worldwide. He has worked through the Autodesk reseller channel, served as an Autodesk Manufacturing and Data Management Technical Specialist, and provided independent consulting services to organizations ranging from small businesses to multinational companies.

Important Registration and Cancellation Policy

All participants are expected to meet the stated prerequisites before attending. Workstations, software, licenses, and required system access must also be properly configured before the scheduled class date.

Participants who do not meet the prerequisites or whose systems are not properly configured will be rescheduled for a future class, and a 25% late course-drop fee will apply.

Participants who do not attend or cancel within 24 hours of the course start time will also be rescheduled for a future class, and a 25% late cancellation or no-show fee will apply.
